Nov. 13, Shanghai – Public Affairs Officer Brian Gibel delivered remarks at the Zhi-Xing Eisenhower Fellowship closing ceremony at the China Leadership Academy Pudong. Launched in 2015 as a result of the U.S.-China Consultation on People-to-People Exchange, the Zhi-Xing China Eisenhower Fellowship is a fully-funded four-week professional and leadership development program that brings 10 mid-career U.S. leaders to China each fall. The fellowship is managed by Eisenhower Fellowships and the China Education Association for International Exchange. During his remarks to the inaugural exchange program fellows, PAO Gibel emphasized the important role exchange programs play in strengthening the US-China relationship.
