EducationUSA China is based in the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and in the Consulates General in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, and Chengdu. EducationUSA China has twelve experienced advisers assisting Chinese students to access the full-range of U.S. higher educational opportunities. All of EducationUSA China services are free of charge.

EducationUSA advisers provide an array of in-person and virtual programs to Chinese students and their parents. We encourage Chinese students to follow the 5-step “do-it-yourself” approach to apply for U.S. study. Our programs aim to help students find the institution and program that best fits their interests and career goals, and to prepare them for studying in the United States.

EducationUSA China advisers work closely with U.S. higher education professionals, organizing myriad activities for student recruitment, networking, and institutional partnership-building throughout China. We provide information about the Chinese education system and assistance with outreach in China.
